About the history
        No.2 high school was founded on 21st of September in 1931; it has a history of 81 years. At the very beginning, only girls were admitted and there were only two classes, so it was a girl’s high school. In 1950, the government took over the girl’s high school. In 1969, the name was changed into No.2 middle school in Guiyang and the boys were admitted also. In 1971, the school was entitled as the first key school in Guiyang. In 1978, she was entitled as the key Middle school of Guizhou Province. In 2002, it was evaluated as the second Class demonstration school by education office of Guizhou Province. In 2010, it was entitled as the experiment school of the new curriculum reform.

        The campus of Guiyang No.2 High School which is located in occupies 13318 square meters with 31 classes and 1417 students.?Its staff and teaching faculty include 155 people among whom are one special rank teacher and 42 senior teachers.?Most of them have awarded various kinds of prizes in different teaching competitions.
